Joyce Hardnett
A Heart for the Forgotten
Joyce Hardnett is the founder and executive director of Destiny Changers Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Jacksonville, Florida. Driven by a deep sense of calling and personal conviction, Joyce built this organization from the ground up to serve those who often feel invisible — first-time non-violent offenders, single parents navigating life transitions, and youth searching for direction.
Joyce's approach is rooted in compassion over judgment. She believes that every person, regardless of their past, carries inherent worth and untapped potential. Her work is not simply about meeting immediate needs — it is about walking alongside individuals as they rediscover their identity, rebuild their confidence, and step into the destiny that was always meant for them.
Under her leadership, Destiny Changers Foundation has grown to offer clothing assistance through the Destiny Closet, court-ordered community service hours, job skills training, and a food pantry — all delivered with dignity and love from the grounds of In His Army Apostolic Church in Jacksonville.
Joyce's vision is simple but powerful: "We are not just meeting needs — we are changing destinies."

Our Journey
The Calling
Joyce Hardnett felt a deep calling to serve those overlooked by society — first-time offenders, single parents, and at-risk youth in Jacksonville, FL.
Foundation Established
Destiny Changers Foundation Inc. was officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 27-5005078, with a mission to restore hope and change destinies.
Destiny Closet Opens
The Destiny Clothes Closet launched, providing professional attire and everyday clothing to individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration or hardship.
Community Partnerships
Formalized partnerships with Feeding Northeast Florida, City Rescue Mission, and Jacksonville Transportation Authority to expand reach and impact.
Court-Ordered Hours Program
Launched a structured program for youth ages 12–17 and adults to complete court-ordered community service hours in a safe, supportive environment.
